The experience of over 20 years in the construction game
I have seen every side of this industry - the trades, the management, the clients, the businesses behind the scenes, and the families just trying to do a reno without getting lost, overwhelmed, or taken for a ride.
The Tradie
Meet Rob

A lifelong tradie, construction manager, traveller, and someone who still believes the best work comes from rolling up your sleeves, showing up with integrity, and treating people with respect.
Rob started his career on the tools at just 14, working hands-on with bricklayers, carpenters, plumbers, plasterers, and electricians.
He went on to become a qualified carpenter and then a construction manager overseeing:
Multi-residential developments
Daycare centre builds
School construction projects
Large-scale interstate commercial jobs from the ground up
With decades of practical experience, Rob’s superpower is helping you see what the professionals see: spotting issues early, understanding trade sequences, managing schedules, keeping standards high, and avoiding costly mistakes.
He’s calm, direct, and deeply committed to helping homeowners feel empowered — not intimidated — by the construction process.
Why Rob Built This Course
Because homeowners deserve better.
I’ve seen too many people confused, overwhelmed, or straight-up taken advantage of.
Poor communication, Half-explained processes, Dodgy work, Shortcuts.
People nodding politely because they don’t want to look silly asking questions.
One of my early clients changed everything.
We worked together for weeks — I encouraged her to get involved,
understand the process, and back herself.
Watching her confidence grow made me realise something powerful:
Some people don’t need a tradie to “do it for them.” They need one to walk with them.
They need support.
Knowledge.
Someone calm, real, and respectful who will give them the truth without sugar-coating the bullshit.
That’s when the teaching seed was planted.
This course is built to educate, empower, and protect homeowners and novice renovators — and to give them a place where they can ask questions without feeling judged.
Meet Mel, Admin
I grew up in a true blue building family.
Builders run through my bloodline - from my grandparents to my dad and now my husband. Tradie talk was basically a second language at the dinner table.
Over the years, that foundation turned into decades of hands-on experience.
I bought, sold, renovated, and subdivided multiple homes.
I spent five years in real estate and became a top 10% sales performer with over 100 sales a year.
I’ve seen construction from every angle - the tradies, the homeowners, the investors, the real estate teams, the project managers, the big operators, and the everyday families trying to make the right decisions.
