Renovators Pro gives you the knowledge to exercise that authority confidently - so you know what to verify before approving payment, regardless of who's managing day-to-day. Responsibility lies with you the owner, and your project manager should be considered a trade like any other. Please only use construction qualified project managers, Australian has regulations around who can be considered a project manager on construction sites. Our renovation course does not encourage you to use someone who has "flipped a house" before as your project manager.

My first day in construction I was a site labourer. I didn't know what a scope of works was. I didn't know why trade sequence mattered. I learned it the way everyone learns it on a building site - by watching what happened when it went wrong, and understanding why.
Over the next two decades, I worked my way from the tools into site supervision, then into construction management. I've managed residential renovations, new builds, and commercial projects up to $20M across multiple states.
I've been the person responsible for holding trades to their scope, approving payments only when the work was verified, and keeping projects on time and on budget when the pressure was real.
